CLEVELAND, Ohio, December 7, 2011 – In its new role as the Northeast Ohio JobsOhio Network Partner, Team Northeast Ohio (Team NEO) today announced that six proposals to stimulate job growth and economic development in Northeast Ohio have received preliminary approval for funding from its Board of Trustees. A total of nine economic development groups will receive the grants to execute the six proposals, one of which is a collaborative effort presented by five economic development organizations.

CLEVELAND, November 14, 2011 — Team Northeast Ohio (Team NEO) released the latest edition of its quarterly Cleveland Plus Economic Review today with a focus on the region’s manufacturing sector. The report shows that by 2015, Northeast Ohio’s manufacturing GRP is expected to outpace that of the United States by nearly 10%. Emerging sectors, such as specialty chemicals and fabricated metal manufacturing are driving this growth.
