Regional Marketing and Sales Support: To help you promote your community and the region, Team NEO offers marketing materials and tools to free-of-charge to all Northeast Ohio economic development organizations and companies who promote the region. Executing Qualified Leads to Attract Business Investment: For companies interested in Northeast Ohio, Team NEO serves as an unbiased single point of entry to the entire region. We engage the state of Ohio, regional businesses and other organizations as appropriate to best showcase Northeast Ohio’s capabilities. Once a company is interested in Northeast Ohio, Team NEO works with the representative from each county to gather local information and sites that may work for the prospect. As a company becomes interested in particular sites, we then work with local community and county economic development professionals to help close the deal.
Many communities bring in Team NEO as extra “arms and legs” to help support a project already in motion. If you are a local economic developer working with a project and want additional help, do not hesitate to contact Team NEO. Each quarter, Team NEO publishes the Cleveland Plus Regional Economic Review. Each edition contains current information on Northeast Ohio’s employment, gross regional product, and real estate. In addition, each report takes a closer look at long-term regional economic trends including our biomedical sector, our headquarters sector, growing and declining industries and occupations and our commercial real estate profile. Promoting Regional Teamwork: Because no single city can effectively compete for business, jobs and population in today’s global economy, the region has united in Team NEO to attract businesses. There are many other opportunities where “smart” regionalism will enhance Northeast Ohio’s economy, such as tax sharing among Northeast Ohio cities and talent attraction. In select instances, Team NEO works on behalf of the “regional” good to promote working together seamlessly.
