Team NEO Marketing Efforts Enhanced
Jenny Febbo joins organization
CLEVELAND, Ohio, February 1, 2011 — Team Northeast Ohio (Team NEO) has named Jenny W. Febbo, APR, as Vice President of Marketing and Communications for the non-profit regional business attraction organization.
Febbo will lead the Team NEO’s marketing efforts to promote the 16-county Cleveland Plus region for new business investment. As a member of Team NEO’s senior management team, she will also contribute to developing and implementing strategies to advance the region’s economy.
“In 2010 we increased our efforts in key markets, incorporating a lead-generation channel strategy,” said Tom Waltermire, Team NEO’s CEO. “Jenny is a highly experienced business-to-business marketer, with extensive international experience, who will be able to add value to this strategy.”
Febbo joins Team NEO with more than 30 years of experience in directing marketing, advertising, public relations, analyst relations, research and corporate communications initiatives for leading businesses and professional services organizations. Most recently she was with Ernst & Young and led marketing and communications for major global service lines and industry sectors. She served in many marketing leadership roles for the “big four” professional services firm’s array of domestic and global business services. Prior to joining Ernst & Young she was with Penton Media for a number of years and ultimately became Director of Corporate Communications.
Jenny is accredited (APR) by the Public Relations Society of America and has received numerous awards for her work. She has been a frequent presenter for business and professional organizations. She has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh and is a graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Business, Marketing Management Program. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, The International Association of Business Communicators, and the American Marketing Association.
She resides with her husband and their two children in Avon, of Lorain County.
She contributes her time and talents to both the marketing and development committees for The Beck Center for the Arts in Lakewood, Ohio and also is very active in fund-raising initiatives for the youth ministry at Avon United Methodist Church.
