Regional Leaders Join Team NEO Board of Trustees

PNC Executive, Paul Clark, and Cleveland Clinic CFO, Steven Glass Elected Trustees
Team Northeast Ohio (Team NEO) announces that Paul Clark, Regional President, Northern Ohio for National City, now a part of PNC, and Steven Glass, Chief Financial Officer, Cleveland Clinic Health System, were elected new trustees October 20, 2009.
Team NEO, the non-profit regional business attraction agent, promotes the 16 counties of Northeast Ohio to attract more businesses and jobs to the region. The organization’s board of trustees is comprised of leaders from throughout Northeast Ohio. “Attracting new businesses and jobs to Northeast Ohio requires the full commitment of our region’s business leadership,” says Chris Connor, CEO and Chairman, The Sherwin-Williams Company, and Team NEO Chairman. “With the help of Northeast Ohio’s business and civic leadership and partnerships, Team NEO is adding thousands of new jobs now, at a time when our region and nation need new jobs most.” Since focusing its mission on business attraction in January, 2007, Team NEO has helped attract 25 new companies, 3000 new jobs and approximately $95 million in new, annual payroll to Northeast Ohio, which has added $175 million in annual regional economic benefit to the region.

Paul Clark is the Regional President, Northern Ohio for National City, Now a Part of PNC and a Director of National City Bank’s Board of Directors. Mr. Clark has been with National City in various roles for 34 years. He is on the Board of Directors of several Northeast Ohio non-profit organizations, including The Union Club, Cleveland Rock and Roll, Inc, Playhouse Square Foundation, Great Lakes Science Center, Commission on Economic Inclusion, United Way of Greater Cleveland and University Circle. Inc.
About Steven Glass
Steven Glass is the Chief Financial Officer of the Cleveland Clinic Health System. Mr. Glass joined the Cleveland Clinic in April 2002, as the Controller and Chief Accounting Officer and served in that role until June 2005, when he assumed his current role. Mr. Glass, a CPA, is a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the Ohio Society of CPAs, the American College of Healthcare Executives and the Health Management Academy.
